Pork Pochero
  • -1 kilo pork liempo (cut into cubes)
  • -3 tablespoon cooking oil
  • -1 mediun red onion (chopped)
  • -5 cloves of garlic (minced)
  • -1½ cup of tomato sauce
  • -2 medium tomatoe (cut lengthwise)
  • -2 cups of water
  • -1 teaspoon ground pepper
  • -10 pieces green beans (bagiuo beans) (cut each into 2)
  • -1 medium chinese white cabbage (pechay bagiuo) (cut horizontally)
  • -3 pieces medium riped sweet plantain (saging na saba) (sliced diagonally)
  • -1 can liver spread
  • -salt to taste
  1. Heat oil in a wok in a medium heat.
  2. Saute the onions and garlic until turns into medium brown.
  3. Put in the pork and ground pepper. Stir and cover for 10 minutes.
  4. Pour in the water and tomato sauce. Stir and let it boil for 30 minutes or until pork is tender. Put water if needed.
  5. Put in the liverspread and sweet plantain. Stir then cover for 10 minutes.
  6. Then put the green beans and chinese white cabbage. Cover for another 10 minutes.
  7. Get a serving plate. Serve and Enjoy!
