Stir Fried Beef and Veggies
 
Ingredients
  • 1 kilo lean beef (sirloin) (thinly sliced)
  • -you can cut the beef thinly and easy if you'll freeze it and then cut before the freeze was gone-
  • 1 broccoli (medium) cut into serving pcs.
  • mushroom (100g) cut into halves (optional)
  • 1 carrot (medium) sliced lengthwise (thinly strips)(optional)
  • 1 celery (sliced diagonally)
  • 1 onion (medium) (chopped)
  • 5 cloves of garlic
  • 2 tbsp. pineapple juice (if none, you can use calamansi as alternative)
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • ½ cup oyster sauce
  • 3 tbsp. sesame oil
  • ¼ cup cornstach
  • 3 tbsp. cooking oil
  • 1 teaspoon of ground pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar and a pinch of salt
Instructions
  1. Step1.
  2. Put the beef, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, pineapple juice and ground pepper in a bowl. Marinate for atleast 20 minutes.
  3. Step2.
  4. While waiting for the beef to marinate. Put broccoli into a boiling water and wait for 1 minute or until it becomes tender. Put on a strainer and rinse with cold water.
  5. Step3.
  6. Heat the pan and put the cooking oil then stir and fried the beef, (Be sure that the sauce is still on the bowl), cook until the color turns to brown and until it renders.
  7. Step4.
  8. When already cooked, put the beef on a bowl, set aside and heat again the pan then saute the onions and garlic.
  9. Step5.
  10. Pour in the marinade sauce, sugar,cornstarch, celery and mushroom. Stir well up to 3 mins.
  11. Step6.
  12. Put in the beef, broccoli and carrots. Stir well for 2 minutes or until the sauce was thickened. (low heat)
  13. Step7.
  14. Add salt depending on taste.
  15. Step8.
  16. Transfer to a serving plate. Make it a topping of a hot steamed rice! Serve and enjoy!
